The Footbar Application

This is normal because your tracker does not need to be connected to your phone when you play. So if the tracker has been turned on, there is no problem. Just reconnect to your tracker after your session, turn it off and download the data. The tracker works independently of the phone and its connection. When you return to the home screen containing the central button, it will still be green with the words "your tracker is on".

Either you are not close enough to your tracker or you may have run out of battery.

Check that :

  • Bluetooth is activated.
  • Put your tracker to charge on a computer thanks to the USB port provided in your packaging.
  • Check that the tracker is flashing when plugged in.
  • Don't hesitate to test with another cable if necessary.

If your problem is still not solved, don't hesitate to contact us via the little bubble at the bottom right of your screen.

In the championship, the rules are simple: the more you play soccer during the week, the more points you accumulate to pass your opponents.
Each week, you randomly join a group of 20 new opponents in one of the 10 divisions that correspond to you.
It's up to you to prove that you are the best in your group: at the end of each week, the first three move up to the next division and the last three move down.

The booster allows to multiply the points obtained by a user during a session according to his division. The booster is x1 when you are in D10 and increases by +1 when you go to the next division to reach x10 when you are in D1. The closer you are to D1, the higher your booster and therefore the more points you will get for your sessions.

Each summer, the current season ends, and the experience points on your Footbar card drop to 10, just like when you started on Footbar. Don't worry, the points come back quickly if you were good the previous season. This is your chance to give it your all in the new season!

The memory of the tracker is different from that of our servers. However, you should remember to empty your tracker regularly by clicking on "download your session". There is no memory "limit" for the sessions on our server so there is no need to delete them. On the other hand, the memory of the tracker has its limits so remember to download your session regularly.

When you are on the summary of your session, click on the icon on the top right and then on "edit". You can then select your workstation, the type of session and the start and end time of your session before "validating".

On the profile view there is a lot of information that is important to know!

First of all, you have all your statistics accumulated over the current season and just below the distance you have covered per month and finally there is the evolution of your profile.

For the bottom view with the detail of the statistics, it corresponds to the evolution of your profile over your sessions and there are several things to analyze:

  • The numbers on the right represent the score you have on each statistic at that moment.
  • However, you have the possibility to increase each of your characteristics by reaching the different levels. The levels to be reached are written in white just to the left of your overall score.
  • Finally, the progress bar in orange shows how far you have to go to reach the maximum score of 99.

The Footbar tracker

It is a tracker weighing 8 grams and 8 mm thick that evaluates the performance of footballers according to a dozen criteria thanks to an accelerometer coupled with artificial intelligence (AI).

A GPS will work with location. Our tracker will understand body movements without knowing the position. It is as if it has been taught to recognise all the movements of the footballer. The two are perfectly complementary.

No! Ultra light, thin and small, the Meteor is placed at the level of the calf, under your sock. It does not interfere with the player's movements at all, and he/she will immediately forget that he/she is wearing a tracker.

And the strap? It has been designed to be more comfortable to use and the numerous user feedbacks attest to this.

No, not a good idea. Our R&D (research and development) is currently based on the "upper calf" position. Wearing it anywhere else will give false game information to the tracker, which will not be able to calculate your stats accurately!

Today our artificial intelligence is not yet able to detect passes and shots made with the leg not wearing the tracker. However, we are still working on this.

As it's hidden under the sock, you can use it during amateur matches, subject to district regulations. We recommend that you ask the referee for permission. Today, the players of the Luxembourg pro team wear our tracker , in addition to clubs who use it at their weekend matches.

For the distance to the Meteor, there are 2 distinct things:

- To connect to the Meteor (to turn it on, off or download data), you must be close to the tracker at about 5 meters.

Artificial Intelligence (AI)

Our tracker is able to detect and record leg movements through an integrated accelerometer.

Then, our Artificial Intelligence works. It understands everything the player has done and deduces the actions on the field from the data on tracker : movements, passes, strikes, dribbles.

Physical statistics

Match & training

  • activity: percentage of time spent running out of total activity time
  • runs: total running time in minutes(') and seconds(")

Running:

  • speed: average time taken to cover 1km
  • average speed: average speed during the session in km/h
  • pace: time taken to cover each km

Coach platform

  • external load: amount of work performed by the player, expressed as a function of speed and activity time. The faster and longer a player runs, the greater the load.
  • intensity level: defined as the percentage of time spent above each speed level, based on Maximal Aerobic Speed (MAV).

There are 4 intensity levels: low intensity (FI), medium intensity (MI), high intensity (HI) and very high intensity (THI). Each level can be adjusted manually by the coach in charge of the team, according to the VMA of his or her players.

Our tracker has been trained through tens of thousands of hours of video to differentiate between these two gestures.

The star rating is based on players of the same gender (= boy or girl), age group and position as you. We look at their stats (number of passes, dribbles, sprint speed, etc.) and then compare your stats to all these other players. This allows us to see how well you are doing in each area and to calculate an average out of 5.

The more you use the tracker, the more points you get. For more information, please refer to the game rules on the app.

If you have had a period of inactivity while standing still, for example on the bench or in goal, the tracker will not count this downtime so as not to distort your statistics.
