How are statistics calculated?
Our sensor is able to detect and record leg movements using an integrated accelerometer.
Then, it is our Artificial Intelligence that works. It understands everything the player has done and deduces actions on the pitch from sensor data: movements, passes, strikes, dribbles.
Here are some details on certain statistics:
Physical statistics
Distance : total distance covered during the activity time, walking, running or dribbling (in km).
Sprint : number of races where for two seconds in a row the player's speed is at least 30% higher than their average speed.
Sprint distance : distance covered during all sprints (in km).
Average sprint : average of the maximum average speed over 2s of each sprint of all the sprints (in km/h).
Maximum speed : average of the maximum average speed over 2s of the 5 best sprints (in km/h).
Balls played
Shooting : Number of long balls, i.e. shots, crosses, set pieces, taken during the session.
Average strike speed : average speed calculated over all shots detected (in km/h).
Maximum strike speed : estimated speed of the most powerful strike detected (in km/h).
Pass : number of passes made during the session.
Dribble : number of times the ball is kept by the player for more than 0.5s.
Possession : time spent dribbling (in min's").
How do you differentiate between strikes and long passes?
Our sensor was trained using tens of thousands of hours of video to differentiate between these two gestures.
How is the star rating calculated?
For the star rating, we base ourselves on players of the same gender (= boy or girl), in the same age category and having played in the same position as you. We look at their stats (number of passes, dribbles, sprint speed, etc.) then we compare your stats to all these other players. This allows us to situate your performance in each area and calculate an average which we reduce to 5.
How are ranking points calculated?
The more you use the sensor, the more points you earn. To find out more, refer to the game rules on the app.
My stats are no longer the same since I downloaded the new version of the application. Is this a bug?
